Posh Trips Travel
As a nurse, I saw how quickly things change,
life’s too short for
“maybe next year.”
That’s why I started Posh Trips Travel—to help people embrace the world, live boldly, and make dream trips a reality.
But how did I get here?
I'm Natalie Farrell, founder of Posh Trips Travel. This is my story, a journey from Registered Nurse to Luxury Travel Advisor.
After college with an itch for travel and adventure, I took a nontraditional nursing route, working with a nonprofit organization in hospitals in Tanzania and coordinating trips for volunteers across East Africa—from safaris in Serengeti to relaxing on the beaches of Zanzibar. While working in Africa I realized my love for helping others could be perfectly blended with my passion for travel and adventure.
I had the travel bug bad—then Covid hit
Restless after returning to the U.S., I packed my bags again—nursing in Delhi, trekking through Nepal, and backpacking across India. But then the pandemic hit, bringing my international travels to a halt.
However, a new opportunity emerged: travel nursing. The pandemic catapulted me into a new role, and I began working as a travel nurse across the U.S.—from Virginia to Colorado—and eventually landed in New York City.
Glimpse into the world of Luxury
Living in Manhattan, it’s hard not to fall in love with everything luxury—from iconic hotel lobbies to Michelin-starred restaurants, I was completely hooked. Planning new adventures to destinations like Morocco, Milan, and St. Moritz sparked something in me. As the world began to reopen, I realized nursing was no longer where my heart was. Burned out, I knew I needed something new.
The Birth of Posh trips Travel
That’s when I founded PoshTrips Travel, blending my love for helping others with my passion for travel, adventure, and all things luxury. The same care and attention I give to my patients as a Registered Nurse, I now channel into crafting unforgettable, luxurious Poshhh getaways. I’ll handle every detail—your job? Just pack the bags.
